To manage your radio-stations daily program, a interface based on containers and allows to fill in preproduced audio files or link-up live-streams. You can also repeate the emissions weekly or daily. In this manual we set up a weekly emission called 'Cheech smoking magazine'. It's preproduced is on every wednesday afternoon at 14:00.
First thing to manage your radio files is to become the editor status. Therefore you need an account. You get this on the homepage in the login case if you choose 'register'. You type in the requested fields including password.
A program holds emissions. For example the program 'Cheech Smoke Magazine' is weekly on with a new emissions.
After registration you should be on your account page. In the 'My links' window you choose now 'Radio Management' to set up your program schedule. Once in the window you create now a new program by scrolling to the bottom of the page to the section 'Unassociated Programs' and you choose 'Add program'.
In the 'New Program' area you fill in a title and a start date of your program. You can here also give detailed information of type and other stuff. You are done now to create your program.
Here you can regulate the repeating of your program. If you want Cheeches show every wednesday afternoon, you choose this here. Also you can define here the start time and the duration of the programm. Don't forget it is still not the emission but only the program. Click 'ok' to get into your program manager window.
Finaly you can create now the emissions that will fill up the weekly show. Therefore you choose 'generate emissions' under 'Emissions'. Don't get confused now because the interface looks like the 'add program' window, but it's not, it's to create an emission field.
You choose for example the month where you place the four weekly emissions. Fill in from/to Dates and 'ok'. The Manager shows you now all the emissions for the month you chose. 'Add selected emission', the ckecked ones, puts them into the tables. Your emissions are now created.
As you would like to check out on the daily table you can go back to 'Radio Manager' in the top line that serves as navigation aid on your interface. In the 'Radio Manager' the first section is 'Calendar' there you choose 'One day'.
The daily table appears. Choose now the date by month and day on the calendar box and klick on a date to find the day chart. There you find now your emissions data ('One emission'). If you click on the name you can see now the meta information of the emission. Exellently you can re-edit all the data and add stuff.
Your emission needs now content. To link up a sound file you see 'Preproduces File' in 'One Emission' window. There you click on 'change'. 'Choose url of the preproduced file' allows you to link up a file from the list or to enter the url of your file. (http://radiom.net/soundfiles/cheech/1.ogg could be an example) The file must be in ogg codex to be streamed on this linux server.I
On 'ok' you give the 'Start-Erlaubnis' to your Radio. Have fun.
